Salvation

No. Baptism is an important act of obedience and a public testimony of faith, but it is not a requirement for salvation. The Bible consistently teaches that salvation is by grace through faith alone, apart from any works or rituals — including baptism.

No. A born-again believer cannot lose their salvation. The Bible teaches that those who are truly saved are eternally secure — sealed by the Holy Spirit, kept by the power of God, and held in the hand of Christ from which no one can pluck them.

Salvation is a free gift from God, received by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ alone — not by works, religious rituals, or human merit. The Bible makes the plan of salvation unmistakably clear.

The unforgivable sin — blasphemy against the Holy Spirit — was the specific act of the Pharisees who, while witnessing Christ's miracles firsthand, attributed the work of the Holy Spirit to Satan. This was a deliberate, willful, and final rejection of the clear testimony of the Spirit regarding Christ's identity.

For the born-again believer, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord — immediately, consciously, and joyfully. For the unbeliever, death brings immediate conscious torment in hell, awaiting the final Great White Throne judgment and the lake of fire.
